[New paper] Unraveling the distinctive genomic characteristics of parathyroid carcinoma compared to adenoma

Our new paper has been published in Experimental & Molecular Medicine.


In this paper, Se-Young Jo, identified specific characteristics that can distinguish from those of adenoma, including mutational and gene expression profiles in collaboration with Namki Hong from Department of Internal Medicine, Severance Hospital. This study is significant since parathyroid carcinoma is often difficult to distinguish from adenoma based on clinical and pathological features alone. This study sheds lights on the clear diagnosis of parathyroid carcinoma. Jeongsoo Won and Jiho Park also made significant contributions to this study.
